Joseph Hansen is Co-founder of the Prosper Show. He holds a number of board positions, and is currently a managing partner of Buy Box Experts. He co-wrote “The Amazon Marketplace Dilemma” with James Thomson.
Over the last eight years, he’s also built and sold four e-commerce based companies. Joseph has developed processes and systems to streamline: raising capital, sourcing profitable, fast-moving inventory, manufacturing products, forecasting sales and cash-flow, training and managing employees, working with distribution partners, and developing unique marketing methods to propel software or products to the appropriate target audience. Joseph values all of his business experiences: “some of the most valuable learning experiences have come at the times I approached failure and figured out how to turn the ship around and create an incredibly successful enterprise.”

James Thomson is the Co-founder and Master of Ceremonies of the PROSPER Show, a seller education organization focused on broadly sharing best practices for operating efficient, profitable online businesses. He is also a Partner in Buy Box Experts, and co-wrote “The Amazon Marketplace Dilemma” with Joseph Hansen.
During his earlier 5+ years at Amazon, James was the business head of Amazonservices.com (Amazon’s platform for recruiting third-party sellers), Amazon’s first FBA Account manager, and the Category Manager in Sports for the third-party business. Prior to Amazon, James spent ten years as a management consultant and banker. James holds a Ph.D. in Marketing (B2B pricing and distribution) from Northwestern University (Kellogg), and an MBA from Vanderbilt University (Owen).
